| Bezalel-Levy Stanwood WA Chaim Bezalel and Yonnah Ben Levy are the husband/wife art producing team based in Camano Island, WA and Ashkelon, Israel that have produced originals, limited and open edition prints, illustrated books, art cards and posters through unique combinations of photography and painting. They opened 'Stanwood House Gallery and Art Center' in a beautifully restored century old landmark building in the west end of Stanwood, WA. This modern and fully equipped workshop houses courses in ceramica and printmaking. The three pieces in the 2007 Unclad show are from a series titled 'Religion is Art & Art is Religion.' They are best described as original art on porcelain, and are created by using iron oxide decals in a montage on glazed porcelain. |
