Judith Campion
Seattle WA

Reared in the Northwest since 1950, Judith Campion received her Bachelor's Degree in Art from the University of Washington. After graduation, she worked in the Boeing Company as a graphic artist and freelanced as a fashion illustrator and other graphic jobs. She currently works as a portrait artist. For the past two years she has been doing a series of Hollywood movie stars for the American Motion Picture Company located in Seattle.

Judith's honors have included: Honorable mention Awards in the Edmonds Arts Festival; Brigham Young Festival of Arts Festival and the Purchase Award in the International Fine Arts Competition at the Museum of Church History and Art in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her portraits are commissioned by clients all over the United States.

In talking of her approach and views of art Judith says, "Facial expressions and anatomy have intrigued me since my youth. As a child I was always drawing people. My fascination for them has compelled me to specialize in portraiture. Capturing the human spirit is always a challenge and different with each study. I agree with Shakespeare when he said, 'man is the beauty of the world, the paragon of animals'. I love trying to capture the essence of life - be it in a portrait or a figure study".
