| Charlotte Decker La Conner WA Charlotte received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has been drawn to the energy in the work of the Russian impressionists painters and has always loved working with the figure, as well as landscapes and still-lifes. But more than subject matter, color harmony is what satisfies her on an emotional level. She has won many awards for her artwork, including the 2004 Arts Alive "Best of Show", a third place award in 2000 at the Edmonds Arts Festival, and First place the same year at Art League North. Charlotte currently lives in LaConner, WA with her artist husband Daniel. They have a hand painted clothing company called Two Lips Originals that keeps them very busy along with their retail store called Amaryllis. |
