| Eileen Kane Portland OR Eileen Kane was born in Cambridge, MA has an M.S. from Harvard, a Ph.D. from Harvard and an A.B. from Smith College. She studied drawing, painting and sculpture at the Mass. College of Arts & Craft, completed Docent Training & Participation, Portland Art Museum and obtained a BFA equivalent from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. Since her first show - the M.L. King, Jr 4th Annual Commemorative show in 1990, Eileen's work has been hung in over sixty shows including One or Two-Person Shows and Selected Group Shows. Honors received have included Purchase Awards, Honorable Mentions, guest Panelist and Lecturer for many conferences and she was cited - Who's Who in American Women in 1976 and 2000. |
