Donald Miller
Camano Is WA

Camano Island artist Donald Miller works in a medium recently coined "pixelism" by the European arts community and adopted by the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. His work begins as digital photographs which are layered, enhanced and manipulated through computer graphics programs including Photoshop and Bryce. The resultant image is converted to a traditional film negative and wet processed in a darkroom setting on archival photographic paper.

He was formally educated at the Albright/Knox Museum, the Chautauqua institution and Geneseo State University in New York.

His most recent commissions hang at the headquarters of Paradise Fabrics and Swesnik Vocabulary Enterprises in Dallas, Sola Corporation in San Juan Capistrano and Ridgewood Farm in upstate New York.
