| Jill Perry Townsend Lincoln City OR Passion. Courage. Faith. These things inspire me. The spirit I see embodied in people moves me. I can see it from a distance. Down the beach, before I can see his features, I know it's my husband. The body says it all before a word is spoken. I've seen courage and insouciance in Harpo, my cat. I have seen my dad commune intently with his God, become amused, and thoroughly enjoy the exchange. I have seen a young woman, blue-haired, pierced and tattooed, look like a queen one minute, and a child the next. In my mind's eye I see, and in my body I feel, what it means to lead with the heart; to walk in faith; to break out of the box, to feel passion. Jill has exhibited her sculpture at the Loveland Invitational Sculpture Show in Colorado and the Skob Knob Studios in Depoe Bay, OR. |
