| Roxanne Patruznick Portland OR Upon graduating from the California Institute of the Arts, I began my career in film and television animation, where I worked as a storyboard artist, character designer and animator on such television shows as: "South Park", "King of the Hill", and "Dilbert". My passion was and always will be oil painting. Since I've left animation to concentrate full-time on my personal work, my work has taken a new and exciting turn. Incorporating some of the more technical skills in composition, design, and storytelling that I developed as an animator with the emotional power of my personal expression, I am in the process of developing a new series of work that explores the nature of pleasure and pain. |
